Introduction

Description: Violet Mizutsune are leviathans known for their beautiful lilac-colored fur. They use the fluid they secrete to slide around, targeting their prey with gas-filled bubbles. Though they appear graceful creatures, the facade quickly fades as they envelop themselves in pale flames and bathe their surroundings in a beautiful, but deadly, inferno of white-hot flame.

Hunter tips: The key to subduing Violet Mizutsune is to avoid their bubble barrage, but beware; once they're enveloped in flame, their attacks become more powerful. Look for openings to attack and if you continually attack parts covered in flame, you'll topple the monster, providing a chance for a counter- offensive. Avoid wearing armor with low fire resistance.
